InCube 2021 - Global Resilience

The theme of InCube 2021, where 6 teams made up of 5 students from South Africa, the USA and Switzerland competed against each other during a 5-day design thinking sprint.

Global resilience is an urgent imperative for more effectively coping with human-made and naturally occurring crises, such as COVID-19. It’s a powerful tool, which not only allows individuals to face the many stresses life inevitably brings, but also gives governments and private sector entities the capacity to understand and better manage increasingly interconnected and interdependent systems.

By placing our cubes in different cities around the world, the participants in 2021 were empowered to think globally and learn how to nurture resilience by tackling challenges in the mobility, communication, construction, blockchain, health and space tech sectors.
